About Me
My name is Jayne, I have been a qualified Sugaring Practitioner for 10 years, I have also recently qualified as a Waxing Practitioners so that I can offer varied types of hair removal and treatment.
Get Smooth is based in the Ensbury Park area of Bournemouth and we also work with Vintage Belle Beauty which is based in Strouden Park by Castle Point.
History of Sugaring & Waxing
Sugaring started centuries ago in Arabia, African and Eastern parts of the world when people thought of body hair as unhygienic and ageing. Records show that Cleopatra used this method of hair removal. Sugaring is popular now days too, for the same reasons. Waxing is just a modern version of sugaring using a similar method to remove hair with a slightly different product.
What does it do for you?
Sugaring & Waxing not only removes unwanted hair, it also takes away dead skin cells. When dead skin is not removed, it builds up making moisturising and creams to be absorbed less effectively. Also by exfoliating in between treatment helps to keep the skin silky smooth and irritation free.
